“ASK AN ARCHITECT” - a small gesture to say thank you and support our heroes!

As many of us have been spending more time at home, you may be considering how to improve the space you live in but are wondering what you can do and how you might do it.

We are offering a 30 minute “Ask An Architect” virtual consultation over Zoom to raise money for our local hospital in Whitechapel, The Royal London – https://bartscharity.org.uk/get-involved/donate/

During our consultation we can discuss:

• How to develop your brief
• The design and construction process from start to finish
• Advice on how the current COVID-19 restrictions will impact on your project

Whilst there is uncertainty at the moment, local councils are still processing planning applications and now is a good time to be getting prepared and progressing the early stages of a project.

At a time when we are all being encouraged to stay inside, if you fancy some light entertainment you can see Backwater, our holiday home project on the Norfolk Broads featured as a reference project on tonight’s (25th March) “Building the Dream” on More 4 at 9pm.

Charlie Luxton will follow newly-retired Marisa and Andrew through the build of their own bespoke home on the Suffolk Coast. The couple were given a tour of Backwater so they could experience the house and see how some of the design ideas might apply to their own project.

NW10 won the Housing Interior Award with the judges praising the project “for its complementary and sensitive use of materials.” The project was a close collaboration with our client, with artist William Stein producing bespoke modernist terrazzo tiling patterns for each room.
