Platform 5 Architects worked with the Royal Society of Chemistry to develop ideas for the reconfiguration and refurbishment of their Grade 2* listed premises in the historic Burlington House, adjacent to the Royal Academy of Arts. A concept of small scale interventions was devised, inserting key furniture pieces along with a new lighting and branding strategy to provide maximum impact with minimal changes to the historic fabric of the building. This feasibility design formed the basis of the ongoing design work.
